Other than seeing Joaquin’s beautiful face, his and Philip Seymour Hoffman’s emotive performances, the story just didn’t go any where. It was the kind of movie you keep waiting for the story to develop into something more and it just never did. Too bad. I am sure there is enough material on a story loosely based on Scientology to have been far more captivating.
