The inset photo is the USS Arizona in 1931 with President Herbert Hoover on board. Model of the USS Arizona -  This model was in the Phoenix, Arizona Veteran’s Parade this year and I ran into the folks at Applebee’s later and spent a few minutes visiting with them.  The owner is an old Seabee.  He told me some war stories and I told him about our family’s Veterans and I thanked him for his service.
