HH: I see so many of these lanterns in Mexico and the Southwest USA. Surely it is the Moorish influence in Spain, later carried on through Spanish colonialism that has carried on through centuries. They do not vary much. They are so beautiful as is and I have at least four such lanterns for my front porch and patio. They give off a pleasing light.
