Agora Gallery, Chelsea, NYC, Art Gallery Video. The works of Aelita

Aelita Andre
Most five-year-olds finger-paint. Aelita Andre is about to have her second solo show as “the youngest professional painter in the world” at New York’s Agora Gallery — her first showing raked in up to $30,000 per painting. Andre is the daughter of two painters; at nine months old, she crawled onto her parents’ canvasses and began to paint.

The Agora Gallery, Chelsea, NYC presented the works of abstract chills painter Aelita Andre from June 12th - July 3rd 2012. The exhibition was titled “A Secret Universe; a solo exhibition by Aelita Andre”.

The Guardians Germaine Greer describes Aelitas work as “Vivid abstracts full of life, movement and dazzling color”. Noah Horowitz of The New York Times compares Aelita to Jackson Pollock

Aelita paints with her hands, feet and even whilst dancing. The above video highlights Aelita at work in her studio.
