Tap Room Side of Rock Springs -
With the Interstate system, these qwerky off-the-wall rest stops are almost lost in the sea of homogenous clone restaurants like McDonald’s and Wafflehouse.  I am sure it is hard to compete, so you have to have a hook.
You can be in any state across the nation and get the same meal if you go to the “clones”.
I like it unique.  I will always choose something with some character and interest when possible.
This place is known for it’s pies.  They use the best ingredients.

Me, I like pie better than cake.  Cakes are prettier and easier to decorate, but pie usually contains more of what I like, lots of fruit and a good flaky golden crust. Tonight’s pie was a banana-coconut vanilla pudding pie with a whipped creme topping, cold and sweet as ice cream to wash down all the other “stuff.”  Plus I had to use up three bananas today and I couldn’t look at another piece of banana bread.
