Cherry Salad Dessert - not sure why it is called a salad, because it is more of a dessert, but it is always great for POT LUCK! Everyone seems to enjoy it no matter where I take it.
So this is what I am bringing to the Tumblr Pot Luck when it happens.
Cherry Salad Whip
1 can of cherry pie filling
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 package softened Philidelphia creme cheese
1 small can crushed pineapple drained
1 cup of chopped walnuts (or pecans)
1 8 oz. container of cool whip
Dried Coconut can be added, if you like that extra flavor.
Dump all these ingredients in a medium size bowl and fold together until all is incorporated. Chill for 3-4 hours before serving.
