“The Arc de Triomphe is a monument in Paris that stands in the centre of the Place Charles de Gaulle, also known as the “Place de l’Étoile”. It is at the western end of the Champs-Elysees. The triumphal arch honors those who fought for France, particularly during the Napoleonic Wars. On the inside and the top of the arc there are all of the names of generals and wars fought. Underneath is the tomb of the unknown soldier from World War I.”
This picture appeals to me because it is not the traditional four-square angle. It has personality and makes you want to know more. That’s how it worked for me. Then, again, most things that interest me make me want to know a lot more.
So my surfing is also educational. This is a good justification for not doing the laundry yet tonight.
