The Dzi [pronounced gZi - ghzi - zi - or tzi] is a Tibetan amulet. They are stones, beads of different shapes and sizes. The yolks are bright. Dzi in Tibetan means something like bright, gorgeous. These stones, arranged or not in bracelets and necklaces, pass from generation to generation within a family. The ancients believed that the Dzi stones absorbed the cosmic energy of the universe protecting the wearer against all kinds of misfortune. Among many virtues, Dzis stabilize blood pressure and strengthen the vital energy [ki or chi].
